| Air Conditioning systems are designed to control
the quality of the air within a room to ensure operational
specifications are met. This includes the control of temperature,
humidity, airflow and fresh air within the room. |

| Computer Room Air Conditioning - The objective is to keep all of the IT equipment within the standard
environmental ranges as specified by the manufacturers. This is
provided by floor-standing units that are designed to adapt to the
conditions within the room and provide cooling and humidification
exactly where required. These are referred to as close-control,
downflow systems. The air from the units pressurises the raised
access floor plenum and is delivered precisely to specific areas of
the room by air grille tiles. The location of the A/C units and of
the grille tiles is calculated and defined as part of the 'Air Flow
and Capacity Design' of the room.
| Call Centre/Office Air Conditioning- The objective is to keep the personnel in comfortable working conditions.
This can be provided in many different forms, such as individual
ceiling/wall mounted units or ducted VRV (Variable Refrigerant
Volume) systems. All of these are commonly referred to as comfort
cooling. The location of the A/C units is calculated based on the
personnel and layout of the room.
