| END2END have helped many of their clients develop
'water-tight' tender documentation that both ensures high quality
responses and makes it easy to mark the responses and compare one
with the other. There are 3 basic approaches that can be adopted: Two Stage Tendering- where a preferred supplier is adopted at Stage1, who works with the client
at Stage 2 to design and cost the work Single Stage - Prescriptive Tendering– The tender contains a detailed design of the work for suppliers to quote
against Single Stage -Flexible Tendering – The tender
contains a requirements brief, requiring each supplier to work up
their own design and costing
Each
approach has its advantages and disadvantages - for a detailed
explanation, download our Tender Guide.
