suit all needs. The units were chosen after much investigation from
a number of manufacturers, as they must provide the level of
quality, resilience and monitoring/management capability that is
demanded within any Data Centre environment. And we can even provide IT
racks with power distribution units already

In real terms, there
are 4 basic functional flavours of PDU:
|  | | | | | Dumb PDU's - They provide simple power
connectivitiy for all of your IT components
Metered PDU's
- These show the power load on the unit itself
Monitored PDU's
- These allow you to monitor the power load remotely (via IP, SNMP,
etc.) via in-built web pages, a network management appllication or InSight.
Update:
We can also supply PDUs ,which can monitor down to the individual
socket level!
Remote Managed PDU's
- These allow you to control the PDU (e.g. turning off ports or
groups of ports remotely)
