| Purple Parking provide offsite parking for UK
airports. They offer two services; Park & Ride – you park your car
and a shuttle takes you to the terminal. Secondly, Meet & Greet – an
executive service where you are met at the airport and your car is
parked for you. The Purple Parking website is critical to the
business - not only to promote the services but to actually accept
and handle bookings. |

| Purple Parking had limited options when it came
to a location for the data room. Their only option was an
outbuilding at one of their sites located 10ft away from a busy
railway route. This gave us some unique challenges – one of the
largest of which was interference from high voltage cables. END2END
also had to work with extremely tight timecscales, as PPL needed to
implement a new state-of-the-art digital telephone system. |
| The Data Centre - END2END brought EMC
specialists to bear on the high-voltage problem and the room was
screened with aluminium lattice shielding to combat the effects of
the high-voltage lines. The final room was completed on time and all
of the racks and data comms installed ready for the installation and
configuration of PPL's telecomm system and their key web and
business servers. |
