Rack In-Line Power Meters
Understanding the power load of IT racks has become more and more important to ensure that they don't become overloaded and cause unnecessary downtime. As importantly, it helps the Data Centre Manager to distribute power effectively across the Data Centre, which is essential in making the most of the available power.
The Meters
In-Line Rack Meters give you the capability to understand the power load both locally and remotely without throwing away your current rack PDU's.The meters plug in between the power sources (IEC commando sockets) to the rack and the rack PDU's, with each unit able to handle 2 PDU's. The unit can be mounted into a standard 19" rack and there are 2 visual displays of the Amps, Volts and kWh on the front of the unit. and, if required, the meters can be connected to a network unit, so that the information can be viewed remotely, either by a web page or via an SNMP-enabled application. Options
The units come in 16A, 32A or 63A configurations and single phase or 3 phase.
